Sanctuary of Praise Church is located in the Southeast corner of Dale County, Alabama in the beautiful country town of Midland City. Formerly known as First Assembly of God church of Midland City, in 2003, the name change was one of the drastic changes God instructed Pastors Ricky and Melissa Martin to do. Our slogan is " A church where everybody is a somebody." Pastor Ricky believes " A church should be a place where everyone is welcome, no matter the amount of money they have or don't have, or the manner in which they choose to dress." Pastor Ricky has also set a foundation of principles that every ministry and helps of the church operate on and that is " Purpose, Passion and Power." We believe that God created everyone with a purpose or reason for life, and when they find that reason and become passionate about it, God will empower them to fulfill it. So when you visit the Sanctuary of Praise church, you will hear messages of one's self worth and usefulness in the Kingdom of God. You will hear messages of salvation and healing. Our praise team will ignite the flames of passionate worship within you. Our worship style is Pentecostal with contemporary as well as traditional music, our dress is casual and our doors are open for your visit. Please sign our guest book before leaving and if you have a prayer request, please submit it also. We look forward to seeing you in the Sanctuary.
